Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the start of another exciting school year at Twin Oaks Elementary School! We hope this letter finds you and your family well-rested and ready for the adventures that lie ahead.

As we reflect on the past 25 years of educational excellence, we are excited to announce our theme for this special year: "25 Years of Empowering Minds and Building Futures." This theme embodies our commitment to nurturing not just academic growth but also socioemotional development, character building, and fostering a positive school climate through PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports).

This year, we will be placing a strong emphasis on:

  • Encouraging academic growth and achievement through engaging lessons and personalized learning experiences.
  • Nurturing each child's socioemotional well-being through mindfulness practices, social-emotional learning programs, and supportive classroom environments.
  • Cultivating a culture of respect, responsibility, and kindness through our PBIS framework, where positive behaviors are recognized and celebrated.

We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for your child's success. We encourage open communication and collaboration throughout the year to ensure that we are supporting your child's unique needs and aspirations.

As we kick off this school year together, let's embrace the opportunities for growth, learning, and fun that await us. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education and development. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead!

Warm regards,

Jamie Iverson
Principal
