Principal's Message
It is with great excitement to welcome you to the 2022 - 2023 school year. I hope everyone had a relaxing and restful summer vacation with family, friends, and loved ones. The last two school years have been full of uncertainty and change due to the covid-19 pandemic. We have learned to be flexible, patient, and resilient. As we move forward into "normalcy", we will spend the upcoming year focusing on academic, social, and emotional recovery.
At Twin Oaks, we are committed to the education and safety of our students. We will promote the positive success of our students through PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support (https://www.pbis.org/). Walk to Learn will be an important part of your child's school day where students participate in instruction based on need. We will continue to build a school that strongly believes in creating a positive school culture for children, parents, guardians, and educators.
We encourage each of you to be involved in your child's education by building connections with our teachers, participating in the PTC (Parent Teacher Club) and SSC (School Site Council). To maximize learning, please ensure your child is at school every day and on time. Let us continue to work together, support each other, and communicate for our students' betterment!
The Twin Oaks staff is eagerly waiting to welcome the Timberwolves to a wonderful school year! We look forward to having the pack back in August!
Proud to be a Timberwolf,
Jamie Iverson Diaz, Principal
